Bulk AI Metadata Generation lets you generate metadata for multiple videos at once directly from the Video Library. This is ideal for updating large batches of existing videos or processing newly imported content quickly.

How to Run a Bulk Generation

1. Navigate to Library in the Zype CMS Dashboard.
2. Select the checkboxes next to the videos you want to update. You can select all videos on the page using the top checkbox.
3. In the bulk action toolbar that appears above the list, click AI Generate.

1. The Review Updates modal will open, showing a summary of what will be generated:
   • Videos Selected: the number of videos included in this run.
   • Fields Selected: the number of metadata fields that will be updated.
   • Total Updates: the total number of individual field values that will be written.
   • New Generation panel (left): fields that are currently empty and will receive new values.
   • Update Warning panel (right): fields that already contain metadata and will be overwritten. Review this carefully.

1. If any selected videos lack transcripts, a Missing Transcript warning will appear with a Proceed with Transcript Generation button. Click it to generate transcripts for those videos first (transcript billing applies).
2. Read and check the AI acknowledgment: “I understand that AI-generated metadata may contain inaccuracies and may overwrite existing metadata fields.”
3. Click Generate Metadata to run the job.

What Happens After Generation

• Metadata generation processes asynchronously. For large batches, this may take a few minutes.
• Once complete, each updated video will reflect its new AI-generated field values.
• All changes are tracked in field Version History, so you can review or revert any individual field at any time.
