This reference article describes every setting available in AI Metadata Settings (AI Tools → Manage AI Metadata). Use it to understand what each option controls and how to configure it for your catalog.
AI Metadata Status Section
| Setting | Description |
| AI Metadata Status | Shows whether AI Metadata is currently Enabled or Disabled. Toggle here to activate or pause AI generation globally for your account. |
| AI Transcriptions Status | Read-only indicator showing whether AI Transcriptions is enabled. AI Metadata requires this to be Enabled. If Disabled, a warning banner explains the dependency. |
About Your Brand Section
| Setting | Description |
| Brand Description & Editorial Guidelines | Free-text field for describing your brand, content types, editorial tone, and style guidelines. This context is injected into every AI generation prompt. Example: “We are a documentary streaming platform targeting adult audiences. Use an engaging, journalistic tone. Avoid hyperbole.” |
| ✅ Tip: The more specific your Brand Description, the more consistent and on-brand your AI-generated metadata will be. Include your target audience, content genre, tone preferences, and any terminology to use or avoid. |
Metadata Generation Section
| Setting | Description |
| Model | The AI model used for generation. Default: Amazon Nova 2 Lite. Different models offer different trade-offs between speed and output quality. |
| Reference Videos | Add up to 5 videos from your library as style references. The AI uses these videos’ existing metadata as examples of your preferred format and tone. No reference videos are required, but adding them improves consistency. |
| Generate Titles | Toggle: when ON, AI will generate a Title for new and bulk-generated videos. |
| Generate Friendly Titles | Toggle: when ON, AI will generate a URL-friendly title slug. |
| Generate Descriptions | Toggle: when ON, AI will generate a long-form Description. |
| Generate Short Descriptions | Toggle: when ON, AI will generate a Short Description. |
| Generate Keywords | Toggle: when ON, AI will generate Additional Keywords (comma-separated tags). |
| Generate Genres | Toggle: when ON, AI will suggest a Genre for the video. |
Usage & Billing Section
AI Metadata generation is a usage-based feature. Processing usage is measured using AI compute tokens generated during transcription and metadata generation workflows.
- Billing: Usage and associated costs can be monitored from the Usage Dashboard within your Zype account.
- Free tier: AI Transcriptions include a free tier allotment of 300 minutes.
- AI Metadata generation tokens are billed separately.
