Instead of writing titles, descriptions, keywords, and genres by hand, Zype’s built-in AI engine generates high-quality metadata for you using your video’s transcript, subtitles, and existing content as context. The result is faster content operations, more consistent editorial tone across your catalog, and better discoverability for your viewers.

Supported Metadata Fields
AI generation is available for the following fields on the Video Details page:

| Genre | Content genre (free-form or taxonomy-driven) |
| Additional Keywords | Comma-separated tags for search and discoverability |
| Custom Attributes | Any custom Name/Value metadata fields on the video |
How It Works
AI Metadata generation uses your video’s transcript and subtitle data as the primary source of context. This means AI Transcriptions must be enabled for AI Metadata to work — Zype will prompt you to enable transcriptions if they are not already active. The AI model reads the transcript, applies your Brand Description and Editorial Guidelines, and generates metadata that reflects the actual content of your video.
| ℹ️ Note: AI Transcriptions are required for AI Metadata generation. When you enable AI Transcriptions, AI Metadata will be enabled automatically. Transcriptions are billed at $0.05 per minute after your free tier allotment of 300 minutes per month. |
