Zype features a comprehensive Analytics module with detailed information about all the different kinds of activities you can perform on the platform, including how your audience interacts with and reacts to your video content. The various Analytics reports are designed to help you gain insight on the steps you need to take to grow your video business.
**Note: Zype currently does not receive analytics from third party player sources, such as Youtube and OTT apps such as Roku or Apple TV. Zype receives only player impressions from these sources and endpoints.
Viewing the Analytics Reports
To view the various analytics reports, click Analytics on the Zype navigation menu.
Click on a report to get more detailed views. For example, if you click the Most Requested Videos report, you’ll see your videos ranked by default from those with the most plays and impressions down to those that are not getting any views at all, if any. Each video also shows the total time it was watched.
When applicable, you can also sort a report by each of its columns and customize its date range by specifying a different start and end date.
In the case of reports with charts, such as the Video Player Impressions report, you can get the exact player impressions for a day by hovering your mouse over specific points in the chart.
Some reports allow you to drill down on the data. For example, in the case of the aforementioned Most Requested Videos report, if you click a video title on the list, you’ll see a breakdown of the total video player impressions by country, device, player, and revenue model, the total number of times the video was played, the average length of time it was played, and the total number of hours your audience spent watching it.
To the rightmost of the Analytics page is your Activity Stream, which displays all transactions from your audience, the corresponding spend per subscriber, and the transaction date. To display all transaction activities, click the View All Activity button to the bottom of the Activity Stream.
The table below lists and describes the various Analytics reports. (Click the report title for more details on the report).
*Note - Zype does not track specific analytics across endpoints.
