Introducing Zype MCP Integrations

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and More to Your Zype Library

We're excited to announce the Zype MCP server, which connects your Zype video library to the AI apps your team already uses. Your team can now connect seven leading AI apps to Zype by signing in with their Zype account, with no API keys to create or share. Each app also has its own new integration in the Zype CMS Integrations Marketplace.

With this update, you'll be able to:

• Connect Claude (including Claude Code), ChatGPT (including Codex), Cursor, Gemini (Antigravity), Grok, Muse and Perplexity to Zype, plus any app that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth
• Sign in with your existing Zype account instead of managing API keys
• Keep access safe: every connection is limited to the site you choose and to what your Zype role allows
• Find step-by-step setup for each app in Zype CMS under Integrations → Integrations Marketplace
• Ask questions and make changes across videos, playlists, series, subtitles, live events, playout, subscribers and more, in plain language

Connecting the MCP

Zype MCP uses Zype sign-in (OAuth) for every connection. To connect, add this server URL to your AI app:

When you connect, Zype opens a sign-in page. Sign in with your Zype account, choose a site if you belong to more than one, review the permissions the app is requesting, and select Authorize.

Seven new integrations are now available in the Zype CMS Integrations Marketplace, one for each supported AI app. Each integration page includes setup instructions for that app, and admins can add it to My Integrations in one click.

The Zype MCP website at mcp.zype.com has also been refreshed. It includes setup guides for every app, an explanation of sign-in and access, and a Tool Reference listing every available tool and the permission it requires.

Each tool is labelled read-only, write or destructive, so your AI app can ask before it changes or deletes anything. To disconnect, remove the connector in your AI app.

Get Started

Zype MCP is ready to use today:

• Admins: open Integrations → Integrations Marketplace in Zype CMS and add the AI apps your team uses to My Integrations.
• Everyone: open your AI app's integration page, or visit mcp.zype.com, and follow the setup steps for that app.
