This month's release notes include:

Zype Streaming Platform

NEW 

  • Add loading “spinner” UX element to Analytics 3 engagement charts
    Improve analytics UX by adding a loading spinner to indicate when engagement charts are retrieving large datasets, ensuring customers know when data is still populating

  • Support .ts files for uploads
    Add support for .ts files to the web uploader and embed uploader

  • Create “Plays” graph in individual video analytics page
    Add “Plays” graph to individual video analytics page

  • API Field Filters
    Enables customers to request only the fields they need from Zype CMS API responses (e.g., Videos, Playlists, Playlist Videos, Zobjects) to cut payload size, speed responses, and reduce downstream processing

  • Add Video ID as a Column Option within main Library View
    Lets users show the Video ID in the Library table so they can copy and reconcile IDs with spreadsheets

  • Change live event start/end timestamps to only automatically if not manually set
    Change live event start/end timestamps to only automatically if not manually set

  • Add ‘internal_title,’ ‘friendly_title,’ and sorting to Favorites API
    Updated the Favorites API to incolude ‘internal_title,’ ‘friendly_title,’ and sorting. API Docs updated

  • “New Subscriptions” chart to Revenue analytics page
    Adds a dedicated chart to the Revenue section in Analytics 3 that tracks and visualizes daily new subscriptions, broken down by subscription plan

  • Add 'consumer_id' filter to V3 engagement APIs
    Enables filtering by 'consumer_id' when using V3 engagement APIs

  • ZObject Fields of Type Array Cannot Be Updated via API
    Enables array field types on ZObjects - custom fields or Keywords - can now be updated via the API

  • Player Test Harness Using the Latest Player Version
    Updated the player test harness to use the Bitmovin Player

FIXED

  • Events Duplicating When Importing Feeds from JW Player Broadcast Live
    Fixed an issue where duplicated events were being imported from JWPlayer

  • Videos over 5GB failing to upload
    Fixed an issue where video files over 5GB were failing when uploaded

  • Mobile Video Ads Not Clickable 
    Fixed an issue with the player stylesheet preventing mobile ads from being clickable on the player

  • Stripe Configuration Could Not Be Saved
    Fixed an issue where certain missing settings were preventing Stripe configurations from being saved.

  • Errors When Downloading MP4 Renditions
    Fixed an issue where the transcoded MP4 rendition could not be downloaded from the CMS

  • Subscription Stats Showing 0 Records
    Fixed an issue where analytics on the subscriptions pages were showing no records

  • Iconik Integration Error
    Fixed an issue causing the Iconik integration setup to fail

  • Time Mismatch Between Analytics 3 Graph and Table
    Fixed an issue where times were mismatching on Analytics pages due to DST

  • Fix VimeoPro Subtitles Importer & Sync – Duplicate Imports and File Deletion Bug
    Fix duplicate imports and missing cleanup in VimeoPro Subtitles Importer – ensures subtitles import only once, sync updates only when modified, and removes unused files from storage

  • Thumbnails Not Loading
    Fixed an issue where thumbnails uploaded before 2020 were failing to load

  • Upload Embeds Not Working
    Fixed an issue where the upload embed was not successfully uploading videos

Zype Apps Creator

  • Add Internal Title to Content Selection Module 
    Added the internal title to the content selection modules in the dashboard

  • 16KB Google Play Compatibility Requirement
    Added support for 16KB pages as per Google Play's compatibility requirement

  • Update SSAI Macros for Web & CTV
    Added support for additional SSAI Macros on Web & CTV to match currently support CSAI macros

  • Add UI Fields for Alternative Titles
    Empower content teams with dual titling in Apps Creator CMS — seamlessly manage internal organizational names alongside polished, consumer-facing titles for videos and playlists

  • Add Internal Title Field to All Applicable Library Columns
    Quickly organize and manage your content with Internal Title now visible alongside Titles in Apps Creator CMS library and catalog views.

 

FIXED

  • Web & CTV Regionalisation not working for Settings Subscription Screen
    Fixed Settings Subscription Screen

  • Unable to Activate Marketplace IDs in Apps Creator for Zype CMS IAPs Without Safe Purchase Pricing
    Fixed an issue where when an IAP is created in Zype CMS using a non–App Safe Purchase Pricing value, its Marketplace IDs cannot be activated in Apps Creator

  • Livestream archives not playing if “Live Event” is enabled
    Fixed an issue where live archives were not streamable on apps when the "live event" metadata toggle was enabled in the CMS

  • "More content loading" text shown on pressing down inline menu
    Fixed an issue where "more content loading" text was showing incorrectly on Roku

  • Duplicate Subscription Entries Being Created in CMS
    Fixed an issue where duplicate subscriptions were being created in CMS when created via iOS

  • Option to Turn Off Closed Captions Missing
    Fixed an issue where the option to turn off closed captions was missing on AFTV

  • Ad Tag Macros Not Populating Correctly (width, height, app_bundle)
    Fixed an issue on LG where certain ad tag macros were not filling properly

  • Series Season Only Showing First Page
    Fixed an issue where pagination was not fetching additional pages when scrolling on Android TV and AFTV

  • Only 100 Items of a Playlist Are Visible on the Dashboard
    Fixed an issue where only 100 items of a playlist were displaying in the dashboard

  • Incomplete Label for GA4 Events
    Fixed an issue that  ensures proper user activity tracking and complete insights in Google Analytics
