Zype Streaming Platform

NEW 

  • Exclude from Storage Policy Toggle Added to Upload Page for Ad Slates
    Introduces an upload option to exclude specific mezzanine files from automatic deletion, ensuring critical assets like playout ad slates remain available despite active storage policies.

  • Add “Download CSV” to Analytics 3 Dashboard Tables
    Analytics 3 now supports CSV export for Engagement dashboards, making it easy to download and analyze engagement data with your applied filters and date ranges.

  • Add Summary Tables to Engagement Analytics Dashboards (Group By Rollup)
    Engagement dashboards now include summary tables under charts, giving you a clear rollup of grouped engagement metrics with totals and percentages.

  • Add Top-Level Plays, Viewers, and Hours Watched Metrics to Engagement Dashboards
    Engagement dashboards in Analytics 3 now display top-level metrics for Plays, Unique Viewers, and Hours Watched, giving you an instant snapshot of audience activity.

  • Addition of the live_events param to Videos API
    An enhancement to the existing list videos API that introduces a new filter parameter live_events=true, allowing developers to query and return only live event videos.

  • Addition of two more fields to Favorites API (internal_title, friendly_url) and Created_At sort and Order Bys
    Added the internal_title & friendly_url fields to the Favorites API when using details=true

  • Addition of the internal_title for Related Images (ZObject, Video, and Playlist) on API & UI
    Introduce a new internal_title field for images in ZObjects, Videos, and Playlists, giving customers an internal-only field for programmatic use without impacting consumer-facing Title and Caption fields.

  • Video title not wrapping when previewing video
    Fixed an issue with the preview player where the video title did not display properly when previewing a video in the CMS

    Fixed an issue with the subscription analytics charts not displaying the correct data

  • Analytics 3 - Ranges are not consistent
    Fixed an issue where inconsistent data was returning across different date ranges set via the analytics dashboards

  • Make Pagination Default for New Apps
    Updates Apps Creator to utilize pagination on apps as the default configuration providing performance improvements across apps

  • Implement save functionality on the dashboard
    Implementation of a “save” button on the app secrets page to replace the auto-save functionality to provide clearer save functionality

  • Android 15 Upgrade
    Upgrade to Support Android 15 on Android TV/Fire TV

FIXED

  • Users authenticated via third-party unable to log out on apps
    Updates the backend logout process to send a success/fail response for third-party API requests

  • Extras Tab Appearing Out of Order in Series View
    Fixed an issue where when viewing series content within the platform, the "Extras" tab was not appearing in the expected order.

  • Interstitial screen shows after back navigation from error screen, even when disabled
    Fixed an issue where even when interstitials were disabled in Apps Creator, users were still routed to an interstitial screen upon clicking the back button from an error screen when a video was unavailable

  • Back button unresponsive on interstitial screen after encountering unavailable content
    Fixed an issue where after a user dismissed an error on a video page, they were taken to an unresponsive interstitial screen.

  • Settings Menu Label Not Localized to Portuguese
    Fixed an issue on tvOS where settings were not localized to Portugese

  • Mobile Guide Page Displays Incorrect Dates and Times.
    Fixed an issue where the guide page was not showing correct dates and times on mobile apps

  • Push Notifications Not Delivering Correctly Across User Segments
    Fixed an issue with push notifications not being delivered to all segments of users

  • App Builds  Failing
    Fixed an issue where app builds were failing for Apple TV, AFTV, and iOS

  • App displays @ symbol incorrectly in email address within app configuration text
    Fixed an issue on AFTV apps where the @symbol was not displaying properly.

  • Player app store URL macro should be replaced with complete app store url for Roku
    Fixed an issue on Roku where the [player_params.app_store_url] macro was not filling the proper URL.

  • Web app content refresh optimizations
    Enhances UX by refreshing content on AC web apps for efficiently

  • Series/Playlists in Collections Sometimes Limited to 10 on iOS Mobile
    Fixed an issue where not all series or playlists were displaying on iOS mobile apps
