Configuring Periscope Multicasting

Configuring your Zype Live encoder for Periscope Multicasting is a quick and easy process. Note, that you'll need to be using Periscope's mobile app for broadcasting in order to proceed with the following steps.

Step 1 - Sign into the Periscope account that you'll use for live broadcasting and click on your account/profile icon in the upper right corner.

Step 2 - Once in your account / profile view, scroll down and click on 'Settings'

Step 3 - Once in your Settings menu, scroll down to 'Advanced Sources' and click on 'Periscope Producer'

Step 4 - Within Periscope Producer click on '+ Create Additional Source'

Step 5 - Here you'll find the target Server URL and Stream Key that will need to be provided to Zype in order to complete multicasting setup for Periscope

Please input this information in the Zype Live Multicasting setup page. You can also rename this source to "Zype Live" to help keep track within Periscope's interface.
