What is Live Multicasting to Social Platforms?
Zype helps customers multicast live events to Facebook Live, YouTube Live, Periscope and Twitch through the Zype platform. This means you can simultaneously send one live broadcast to your website, connected TV & mobile apps, and social platforms to reach your audience wherever they are.
How Does Live Multicasting to Social Platforms Work in Zype?
To start, we ask customers to provide us with the target server URL and a persistent stream key for each social platform you'd like to multicast on. We currently support multicasting configuration for Facebook Live, YouTube Live, Periscope, and Twitch.
We'll then configure an encoder for you that allows you to simultaneously broadcast your live event to your standard web, connected TV & mobile endpoints as well as any social platforms you've requested configuration for. You can select your live multicasting enabled encoder during the event creation workflow in Zype Live to start multicasting to your social audiences!
