Zype Streaming Platform

NEW

• New search architecture improved performance and accuracy of video search in Zype CMS

FIXED

• Corrected Zobject add video documentation to reflect that video_id should be sent in the body rather than as a query parameter

Zype Apps Creator

NEW

• Add a 'More' button to the series layout to ensure the full description can be read across the platforms
• AVPlayerViewController for the Live Content on Subsection level has been introduced, for simplicity of having native DVR controls

UPDATED

• Offline download is now enabled by default for Apps Creator mobile applications (iOS and Android)
• On tvOS Default Focus is now set on Playing button enhancing the UX

FIXED

• Implemented a workaround due to an issue with high bitrate ads on mobile not loading due to THEOPlayer issue
• Resolved an issue where content scrolls to first item within Favorites section when a personalized playlist exists on the same section
• Resolved an issue with unselecting favorites within the Favorites section on Android TV Platforms
• Resolved an issue where the Episode description in the EPG display on Roku was being cropped
• Resolved an issue where the video/image preview was distorted in the Spotlight layout
• Resolved an issue on Android apps where the carousel automatically scrolled back to the first item in the carousel when the user scrolled through content on horizontal layouts (Hero/Video Grid) when an active download was in-progress
• Resolved an issue with Offline Download playback on mobile
• Resolved an issue where poster thumbnails of 2:3 aspect ratio from Zype's CMS were displaying as letterboxed versions in low resolution on Apps Creator applications

Zype Playout

NEW

• Added support for WebVTT subtitles on all HLS outputs across all playout channels by default
• Added support for SSAI (Client-Side) Ad Beacon Strategy selection
• Display whether an asset is transcoded or not in the Asset Inspector
• A yellow label will be added to the channel when it is a "Scheduler-Only" channel

UPDATED

• Improved performance of channel cloning process (ex. when switching to High Availability, or adding a new live input) 
• Updated the Roku EPG endpoint in the API Docs
• Add a Beacon Strategy option to each ad insertion server
• Updated XMLTV Hybrid EPG to render video content for all Dynamic Blocks in the schedule 

FIXED

• Resolved an issue where the Series ID was not displaying in the title in XMLTV EPG
• Resolved an issue in Roku EPG where programming was overlapping in some cases
