• Monetization:
  • Apps Creator to Zype CRM synchronization issues:
    • A purchase or subscription was not reflected within the Zype Dashboard, but entitled on Apps Creator under certain conditions
    • Web and CTVs subscription records duplicated in Zype CRM under certain conditions
  • Apple TV tvOS purchase fails on first attempt but succeeds on retry
  • Mid-Roll Ads not rendering on Android mobile applications
• User Experience:
  • Issue where Web/CTV 'Text Button Color' not rendering properly in UI
  • AndroidTV updates were not reflected in the app after application was restarted
  • Normalized color and styles between iOS vs Android “More Purchase Options” section
  • Resolved and issue on the Apps Creator dashboard [Ads → CSAI section] where the “Cancel” and “Save” buttons render inconsistently

  • Resolved an issue where Firebase events were not displaying in real-time under certain conditions 
  • CTV Applications:
    • Resolved application startup issues on Roku apps with large content libraries
    • Resolved Apple TV Thumbnails overlapping in the Inline menu
    • Resolved sections were not coming into focus after clicking the “Back” button in tvOS applications
    • Resolved an issue where selected video always played the first video on tvOS
    • Resolved an issue where the user was presented an option to “Log In” again, even if the user was already logged on Apple TV
    • Resolved an issue where the user was automatically logged out when attempting to “Log In” again, on AppleTV, under certain conditions
    • Resolved an issue on CTVs when a user attempts to go back to a previous screen, and the back button returns the user to the previous screen, under certain conditions
    • Fixed an issue on Samsung TV where the "favorite" save icon was not displaying correctly in the second row of content, requiring users to double-click to reveal the icon
    • Resolved issue where Samsung TV “Subscription Copy Text” was getting truncated
    • Resolved an issue on FireTV, where within Personalized Playlists section, content was not rendering under 'Continue Watching'
    • Resolved an issue on Vizio with TTS (Text-2-Speech) “over-read” on login screen 
    • Resolved an issue on WebOS where focusing effect was missing on inline video content when using 4-way directional keys
    • Resolved a rendering issue with the "Listen Live" section appearing on CTV applications, despite Mobile-Only visibility configuration
    • Resolved an issue with on Android TV/Fire TV where a free-2-watch simulated live playlist was entitlement locked
  •  Mobile Applications:
    • Resolved and issue where on Android mobile, navigating to the notification section the intended deeplink was not redirecting to the appropriate section
    • Resolved an issue on iOS where content was not playing back properly on the interstitial screen when clicking on “play icon”
    • Navigational menu icons were not rendering properly on certain iPad devices
    • Resolved and issue on iOS where user was unable to deselect a favorited / “saved” asset
    • Resolved and issue on Android where an unlocked entitled playlist began playback with “black”, overlapping, unlock screen
    • Fixed an issue on iOS and Android mobile where subscription titles exceeded the default character limits. Increased the maximum number of lines allowed to display longer subscription titles.
    • Fixed copy text rendering issue on Android Forgot password UI

Zype Playout

NEW

• Support for SRT and Zixi live Push Inputs added
  • Note: A maximum of (2) Push Inputs per channel
• Increased the number of days recurrence rules process forward in the timeline to 30 days
• Increase max number of live Pull Inputs per Playout channel to 10

UPDATED

• Add support for rating, genre, and thumbnail for Dynamic Block and Live assets for hybrid XMLTV
• Added Description field for Dynamic Blocks

FIXED

• Inconsistent behavior with scheduling rules and Dynamic Blocks on channels under certain conditions
• Asset not transcoding because its related subtitle was not properly downloaded

API UPDATES

• 1920x1080 will be used as default dimensions for XMLTV EPG images 
• Added program id to Dynamic Blocks and regular blocks for XMLTV
• Merged slates, Ad and Bumpers in the hybrid XMLTV EPG
• Static overlay not applying on “Next Asset” during the first part of asset playback, before the next mid-roll Ad timing
• Removed height and width metadata fields on EPG only if values not present
