Redemption Codes Upload CSV Format

To upload a CSV file containing your self-generated redemption codes, you must create a properly formatted CSV file. You can download our sample CSV file from here.

You can edit the CSV in your favorite editor. The screenshot below shows the sample CSV file, opened using Microsoft Excel. Note that the CSV file will look differently if opened using a text editor:

Each spreadsheet row must include the code and one id column. For example, if you are uploading a CSV file with a code for a video, the file should only contain values in the code and video_id columns. The playlist_id, plan_id, and pass_plan_id columns should be empty.

A code can only be assigned to a single piece of content. Do not provide more than one type of ID in a row.

The available columns are:

  • code: must be at least 4 characters in length and can be any combination of numbers and letters. It cannot be case sensitive

  • expiration_date: is not required, but if present, must be in a DD-MM-YYYY format. For example, if the code’s expiration date is December 31st, 2020, the value of the expiration_date on the file must be 31-12-2020.

  • video_idthe ID of the Video you are assigning the code to. You can find a video’s ID on the Video Details page in the Video Library.

  • playlist_id: the ID of the Playlist you would like to assign to the code

  • plan_id: the ID of the Subscription Plan you would like to assign to the code

  • pass_plan_id: the ID of the Pass Plan you would like to assign to the code
