Summary
Once you've created categories to organize your videos and playlists into, you will want to begin assigning metadata values to your content. Review the directions below to assign the necessary metadata to your content.
To Assign a Category to a Video
1. On the Zype navigation menu, click Video Library.
2. In the Video Library, search for the video to be assigned to a category, then click the Edit button to the right.
3. On the Edit Video page, click the Categories tab.
4. Assign category values through Searching or Browsing
Searching & Browsing for Categories
Search for categories by entering text into the field. Matches will begin populating immediately. Click into the desired category. Notice that the category titles appear to the left of the category values.

Select categories by looking at all categories. Pinned categories will be at the top. The "Browse Categories" component can be collapsed and expanded by clicking into the chevron icon (arrow to the left of the text "Pinned").

When finished selecting categories, click on the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page.
To Bulk Assign Category Values to Videos
You can bulk assign one or more category values to several videos all at once.
1. On the Zype navigation menu, click Video Library.
2. On the Video Library, search for the videos to be assigned to a category, then check the boxes to the left of the videos. This enables the Update button to the top left of the list of videos.
To select all videos, check the box on the topmost-left instead.
3. Click the Update button. Select a category from the dropdown, followed by the values needed to be assigned
4. Click the Add Values link to apply your changes. If you have already added category values to the videos before, and you want to replace the existing category values with the newly-selected values, click Replace Values instead.
To Assign a Category to a Playlist
To assign a category to a single playlist, follow the steps below.
1. On the Zype navigation menu, click Playlists.
2. On the Playlist page, search for the playlist to be assigned to a category, then click the playlist name.
3. On the Edit Playlist page, click the Categories tab.
4. Check the boxes of the category values to be included in the playlist or excluded from the playlist.
5. Click Save Changes.
To Bulk Add "Include" Category Values to a Playlist
You can bulk add one or more categories to a playlist. This only applies to adding an "include" category value to your playlist.
To do this, follow the steps below.
1. On the Zype navigation menu, click Playlists.
2. On the Playlists page, search for the playlists to be assigned to a category, then check the boxes to the left of the playlists. This enables the Update button to the right of the search control.
To select all playlists, check the box on the topmost-left instead.
3. Click the Update button. Select a category from the dropdown, followed by the values needed to be assigned.
4. Click the Add Values link to apply your changes. These will automatically be selected in the "include" section of your playlist category configuration.
If you have already added category values to the playlists before, and you want to replace the existing category values with the newly-selected values, click Replace Values instead.
