1. Contact Zype to Enable the Integration
To begin using the Freewheel Integration, reach out to your Zype account manager or Zype Support to enable the feature on your account.
Once enabled, navigate to the Integrations Marketplace to add the Freewheel integration.
2. Provide Required Freewheel Credentials
Once the feature is enabled, you'll need to use your Freewheel username and password to authenticate in Zype.
3. Confirm Metadata Mapping
Work with your Zype account manager to confirm how your video metadata (e.g., title, category, tags) should be mapped to Freewheel's required fields. This may include:
Video title → content_title
Genres → category
Custom Attributes → custom_targeting
Zype can work with you to determine the mapping based on your requirements.
4. Enable Metadata Syncing
Once the mapping is confirmed, Zype automatically syncs metadata to Freewheel. This process runs in the background and updates Freewheel whenever metadata is created or updated in Zype.
5. Validate Data in Freewheel
After setup is complete, log in to your Freewheel account to confirm that metadata is flowing correctly. You should see the synced video objects and targeting data available within the IVI interface.
