Apple Developer Account Creation & Access

To submit your iOS and tvOS apps to the Apple App Stores, you must create a developer account and invite Zype as an administrator. We recommend doing so as soon as you can in your production process to avoid delays in in-app approval. Follow the simple instructions below!

Create an Apple Developer Account

Step 1: Navigate to the Apple Developer and select Account on the top right.

Step 2: Select "Create your Apple ID Now". Please note, this ID will be used to manage your app; do not use a personal account.

Step 3: After completing the form, verify your account via email.

Step 4: You’ll be redirected to the Apple Developer login page. Enter your account info, select submit, and on the following page, check the box under the Apple Developer Agreement.

Step 5: Enrol in the Apple Developer Program as an Organisation, not a sole proprietors/single person business.

Step 6: After enrolling in the Developer Program, you’ll be able to log into App Store Connect (see below).

Invite Zype to access your Apple Developer Account

We will require the right permissions to access your account. Follow these few easy steps to assign us the correct user/role for your Developer Account.

Step 1: In-App Store Connect, select the Users and Roles module.

Step 2: Select the ‘+’ sign to invite a new user.

Step 3: Enter devaccounts@mazsystems.com as the email address for the user, first and last name can be entered as "Zype Inc".

Step 4: Grant the Admin role and send the invite. Make sure that Access to Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles is checked along with the Admin role. This should be inherited with the Admin role.

Step 5: This invite is only valid for 24 hours. Therefore, once you send the invite, please let us know at success@mazsystems.com about the invite so, we can accept it before it expires.

Congratulations! You have successfully created an Apple developer account and have added us as an admin user.
