Android TV and Amazon Fire TV UX refresh updates are scheduled for release in late May 2025, bringing the same modern design, smoother navigation, and performance enhancements already available on Roku, Smart TVs, and Web.
Apple TV will follow shortly after with a refreshed UX rollout to ensure a consistent viewer experience across all connected TV platforms.
Additional UX Refresh Work planned for release later in 2025 includes:
-
Refreshed Interstitial Screens
Redesigned to improve purchasing flows, call-to-action clarity, and visual alignment across all CTV platforms. -
Updated Electronic Programming Guide (EPG)
Includes improved layout and updated inline-EPG user experience for enhanced content browsing and scheduling interactions.
Finally, while our immediate priority is completing the full suite of CTV, Web, and Smart TV experiences, refreshed mobile app UX updates are also under consideration for the 2025 roadmap.
