Each marketplace has it's own content guidelines. Each marketplace reserves the right to reject apps that do not meet one or any of these guidelines.

CANs
- Create a private channel if you want to reach specific audiences without making their channel public (ex. Adult content)
- Post about Cannabis. Smoking, pictures, descriptions and properties of different strains is permitted. Check out PRØHBTD
- Unless it’s illegal, discriminatory, or considered a privacy infringement, post!
CAN'Ts
- Use hate speech (threaten, harm, harass, bully etc.)
- Promote unlawful or illegal activities including sexual activities amongst minors or facilitate online gambling
- Manipulate identifiers that disguise you, your applications, or the origin of any content, services or digital materials
Apple TV

CANs
- Post or quote religious text but the quotes or translations must be accurate and not misleading
- Educate customers about weapons and firearms, like Above The Game or Gun Talk without showing violence
- Post professional political satirists and humorists, like Family Guy
- Get explicit permission to publish videos or other content from third party sources
CAN'Ts
- Use explicit words in title/ description. Apple has stripped Vine and 500px from the App store because users could search for #porn. But they do not hold its biggest partners to the same standards as smaller developers ex. HBO’s Game of Thrones
- Publish pornographic material defined by Webster's Dictionary as "explicit descriptions or displays of sexual organs or activities intended to stimulate erotic rather than aesthetic or emotional feelings"
- Post defamatory, offensive and mean spirited content, especially targeting individuals or specific groups
- Realistically portray people, children or animals being killed, injured or tortured
Amazon Fire TV

DOs
- Be aware of cultural differences and sensitivities
- Get permission for movies, trailers, TV programs and any music
- Get permission to use Celebrity images and/or celebrity names
- As a last resort, consider removing mature content that may be rejected by Amazon
CANs
- Post unrated (NR/ UR) erotic videos, censored erotic work (Nudity, graphic titles, and descriptions sufficiently concealed with censor strips)
- Post implicit materials like Night Flight’s “Willing Victim” or sexual content with no nudity like “Serial Killer”
- Post about Cannabis. Smoking, pictures, descriptions and properties of different strains is permitted. Check out PRØHBTD
CAN'Ts
- Use explicit words in title/ description. Amazon has flagged titles that contain the word “sex” and “porn” regardless of the content
- Publish pornographic content including including X-rated movies, ameture videos and graphic depiction sexual acts and soiled undergarments
- Publish offensive and illegal material including crime-scene photos or human organs and body parts
- Publish videos or other content from third party sources without explicit authorization from those sources.
- Realistically portray people, children or animals being killed, injured or tortured
- Use promotional media that are produced and distributed for only for promotional purposes
