Below you'll find a catalog of possible error messages you may encounter when trying to complete a task in Playout 2.0. Complete with our catalog of messages are descriptions of what the message means, how it might be triggered, and suggestions for how to best resolve the issue.

 

Asset Not Found: The asset that you have selected no longer exists. Please refresh your assets from the Assets panel. 

    • This message will appear when the asset you have selected in the Asset Panel is no longer in your Zype Library. Be sure to refresh your asset list to have the most up to date assets to pull from. See also Refreshing Assets.

Validation Error: Error validating channel updates. 

    • This message will appear when you’ve attempted to make an update to your channel that does not properly save. This could be because you entered an invalid value when configuring your channel. Exit and re-enter your channel to reattempt.

Save Record Error: There was an error saving your channel.

    • This message will appear when there is an issue with saving updates on your channel. This may happen if you have multiple concurrent users editing your channel simultaneously. Check Change History to see what the last saved update was and repeat your last change. See also Concurrent Editing and Change History and Versioning.

That operation is not available.

    • This message will appear when the attempted operation is not valid. This may happen if you are trying to make an API call to an endpoint that does not exist. Be sure to review our API Documentation thoroughly before reattempting.

That track item no longer exists.

    • This message will appear when trying to update a Track Item that is no longer in your Zype Library. Be sure to refresh your asset list to have the most up to date assets to add to the Timeline. See also Refreshing Assets.

There was an error creating a new Program Block. Please try adding the Program Block again.

    • This message will appear when there is an error creating your Program Block. This may happen if you are trying to create a program block by grouping existing program blocks as a single Track Item. You can only create program blocks from ungrouped Track Items. See also Creating Program Blocks.

There was an error ungrouping the Program Block. Please try selecting the ungroup button again.

    • This message will appear when there is an error ungrouping the selected Track Item. This may happen if you are trying to ungroup a video. Make sure you are selecting a program block or playlist before attempting to ungroup. See also Ungrouping Items in the Timeline.

There was an error publishing your channel.  

    • This message will appear when there is an error publishing your channel. This may happen if you do not have any destinations created for this channel. Make sure you have at least one enabled destination and try publishing again. See also Channel Destinations.

Published channels quota reached: You've reached your quota for published channels. Please contact support@zype.com for information on how to raise this quota.

    • This message will appear when you have reached your quota limit for published channels. You can contact our team at support@zype.com for information on how to raise this quota.

You've reached your quota for channels. Please contact support@zype.com for information on how to raise this quota.

    • This message will appear when you have reached your quota limit for total channels. You can contact our team at support@zype.com for information on how to raise this quota.
