How can we help?

Vimeo Import Follow

You can import your Vimeo library directly to Zype.

NOTE: To use video streams from Vimeo in endpoints that have native players such as Roku, you would have to use Vimeo PRO. For more information about importing Vimeo Pro videos, see Vimeo Pro Import.

To import videos from Vimeo to your Zype account, follow the steps below.

  1. On the Zype navigation menu, click Import & Upload, then on the Import & Upload page, click Vimeo.

  2. On the Vimeo Import page, enter a name for the import, then paste in the URL pointing to your Vimeo account.

  3. By default, the Auto-Add Videos and Auto-Activate Videos options are toggled On, meaning that all new videos from Vimeo will be added to your video library and have access to all features of the Zype platform, respectively. You may toggle Off these options. Toggling Off the Auto-Add Videos option will also toggle Off the Auto-Activate Videos option.

If you choose not to automatically use these features, you will have to go back and manually add the imported videos to your library and manually activate them.

  4. Click Import from Vimeo.

If you are importing a group of videos, and opted to automatically add the videos to your Video Library, you will be shown the following confirmation page. Click Manage Your Videos to open your Video Library, where you can edit and view the newly-added videos. For more details, see Managing Video Imports.

If you are importing a group of videos, and opted NOT to automatically add these videos to your Video Library, you will be taken to the following confirmation page. Click Manage Your Imports to open the Video Imports page, where you can review, then add the videos to your Video Library. For more details, see Managing Video Imports.

If you are adding a single video, you will be taken to the following confirmation page. Click Manage Video to open the video's Details page on your Video Library.
